Discuss what you learned from the process of preparing for and doing the assembly

I have learned that I am fortunate enough to have enough money to survive for eating, and a shelter over my head. Because I have learned that there are still people living on the streets, starving.

What did you and your group complete on your topic tasks

My group and I have only gotten our research done for the secondary poster presentation. Next we will have to shorten the information and put it on a format to present. We have only researched the basic information like what is a tornado, what to d before, during and after a tornado and how it forms. For the primary, we will do a tornado in a bottle, but we will do it before and during the science fair, because it's an activity that we will do with the primary to demonstrate how a tornado looks like and how it is form.

What could the outcome of your research look like?

For primary, we will create a science experiment known as a tornado in a bottle. It will be interesting for the primary as it shows them how tornadoes form and look like. We will need bottles, dishwasher soap, food coloring and glitter. For secondary, we will create a poster to display it to them, so they can just read it.

ELP- C. The Fashion Show

a. your design ideas
I will paint important keywords on my bag that relate to my topic like "stop homelessness and poverty" and "support human rights" but I will paint it in different colours to symbolize the many different skin tones of the world. I will also write the words into a house-like shape to make it more lively and I will probably draw stick figures holding hands.

b. a description of what your product is
My product is a environmental-friendly bag that you can wear anywhere, for all ages, sizes and genders to show that you support human rights. My product will be colourful and fun, but most importantly, it will bring awareness to other people who will see it. They will know that there are people living with no homes and are in poverty, and to support human rights.

c. an explanation of how this relates to human rights
This relates to human rights because homelessness and poverty is one of the articles in the UDHR. People should have the rights to shelter and standard living like healthcare, education, water and food. So designing and making a bag that makes a clear statement for human rights and my topic, will spread the word around. The colours I will use will play an important part in represent the different skin tones in the world to symbolize that it doesn't matter where you are from, you deserve human rights.
