How do you think we should tackle the learning about the human rights?
We could learn more about the human rights by reading books about it or we can each be assigned one of the 30 rights and making a poster about it showing a picture to represent what we think of the rights just like what we did with our , and information from research on the internet or reading books from the library. Also on the poster, we could add if we thought this human right took a long time to make and what were the pro and cons about this number.

Movie commentary

2 things I liked about it
--I liked how they zoomed in and repeated the scene for emphasis when the guy took out his food which was not allowed and when the teacher was hitting the guy with crutches. Also the camera angle was great when his feet was being dragged in the room, it was angled at the bottom, so that was the main focus and was in view.
--I liked how they transitioned from scene to scene. It wasn't too much following around, it showed us a good view of where the setting was, and then the main parts. It moved on well when they were walking, then when the were in a different room.
2 things that can be improved
-- They could have added some dialogue in the scene of when they found the crutches in the dustbin and when they were chatting, because when I first watched it, it wasn't clear to me.
--They could maybe have added some color when necessary, like at the end, when they found the guy locked in a room or when the girl screamed because it would add more drama to it.

Right to freedom
Right to justice
Right to education
Right to Privacy
Yes I am happy with the ranking of human rights because we spent a lot of time discussing, and I heard people's opinions and arguments. Basic rights should be first because we need it in order to live. No discrimination and right to freedom is next because they both mean equality and are both equally important. Right to justice is next because it means to be treated fairly which is the right thing to do to create happiness, peace and love in this world. Right to education should be fifth because we need to be educated to be civilized. Right to privacy is last because it is the least important out of them all.

Journal Entry
Q: What did you think of yesterday's discussion, sitting in a circle?
A: It's a new way to me, because when we had a class discussion in my past schools, we would usually do it in our tables. But a good thing about sitting in a circle was that, everyone had eye contact with another- that way you're more focused and you could pass the bear, so there were no talking over another. I had not much of a clue when we did it on my first day, which was this Tuesday but I adapted to it and voted today. We started out slowly, but eventually we got speaking and we finally ordered it from 1 to 5 in importance of human rights!
