Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

In the third book of this series, Harry goes for his third year at Hogwarts along with Ron and Hermione. He goes into a lot of misheif and trouble with his friends. Since he lives with his muggle aunt and uncle as his guardian, they refuse to sign the note allowing him to go to Hogsmeade, a wizarding village. But he gets a magical map made by the marauders to find secret passageways out of the castle. He tries to save buckbeak which is Hagrid's hippogriff, by going back into time with hermione by using the time turner necklace. He later finds out that he has a godfather called Sirius Black and helps him escape on the hippogriff because he is innocent and accused of murder.

The main character which is Harry Potter is a young boy who is brave at heart. Even though he has continuous unfortunate events thrown at him, he always finds a way to make it right and stay optimistic. I would say he is a determined person because he would do anything to protect his friends and find out about his past.

I would give this book a rating of 100 over 10. It's just a brilliant book and will keep you reading for more. It's packed with all genres- action, comedy, romance and other things. You will feel like you are in the character's shoe as you travel with them through thick and thin. I would recommend this book to everyone, big or small. Boys or girls. People usually read this wonderful series when they're eight until they're 30 or above. People usually pick this book as their favorite in the series and would read it numerous times. It's a book that is sure to keep you sucked in.

  1. It seems as if you meant to post this on your English blog, not your Humanities Blog?
